DotDot COVID-19 Update
The #DotDotFamily are thrilled to announce following updated guidance from DEFRA and after the Prime Minister's announcement, that as of Monday 18/05 we will be reopening our books for social walks to all those who need us.
With the industry being stopped overnight, over the last 9 weeks we have been adapting and changing. Our main focus was to ensure team spirit and morale levels were kept high. We have been volunteering throughout, fundraising and helping rehome…but most importantly, we have been making sure we kept in touch with all our #DotDotFamily with regular updates.
We have been taking all guidelines seriously, adjusting to the new way of working to ensure the safety of everybody.
How will DotDot operate under the ‘new guidance’?
- We have made sure that risk assessments, protocols and policies in place are plenty, to ensure that the team, the doggies and their families are all kept safe.
- The protocol for collecting and dropping remains: we will not be able to come into contact with any members of the 2 legged household and ask for clear instructions as to the designated drop off point.
- Any door handles touched will be cleaned down (or gloves worn).
- All dogs’ coats/ collars will be sprayed with disinfectant, kept separately in crates if being transported to a walk destination and our own equipment used in line with the risk assessments we have in place.
If the government advise of any spikes in the virus as a result of the changes being made, then we will of course reassess our services and those who it will be available to. Our priority is always your safety and the safety of our staff.
We are so excited to commence play and get back to having fun with all the #DotDotFamily.
If you wish to make a booking or have any questions please don’t hesitate to let us know!
We can now also take on NEW clients if anyone needs us- the home visits would just need to be done outside adhering to social distancing.
